Challenge #24 - Snowman (Make a Tag)

Welcome to The Card Concept.

For this challenge we are thrilled to be teaming up with Tracey McNeely and her 25 days of Christmas Tags! Thank you for having us, Tracey!

For this challenge we are looking for:

1.) A TAG or a CARD with a tag on it
2.) Snowmen, snow or any other "wintery" theme!

Each week we offer up a challenge for you to try, and we hope that you will create in one of the styles we have offered here.

The team is divided into the different styles and each designer explains how they were inspired by the challenge!

So come and join us and try your hand at a brand new "style" of card making or work in your comfort zone, it is totally up to you!

We are also excited to welcome, Sheri Gilson to the team! She is joining us as a Classy & Elegant Designer! I asked Sheri to share a bit about herself, here's what she had to say!

Hi! My name is Sheri and I live in Northern California with my husband of 21 years and our 15 year old son. I’m a SAHM who loves to create. I was first introduced to stamping just before the birth of my son and have never stopped. I currently design for By LORi Designs, Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge, i {heart} papers, The Deconstructed Challenge, and The Pink Elephant Challenge. Thank you so much, Lesley, for  for asking me to join the DT in the Classy & Elegant category!!  I'm super honored to be here.

The styles are explained HERE.

The first thing I saw when I looked at the inspiration photo was the snow in the background.  I used that and the colors from the photo to make this card.

I was inspired by the emotion of the inspiration photo, this cool dude is ready to hit the slopes.

Clean & Graphic
Doesn't this wee guy make you holly & jolly?

Clean & Layering

I was inspired by the snowman surrounded by snow, and his happy face!

Snowmen are the best! They make me happy :)

I made one snowman tag but then I decided to make
a couple of other tags to make a collection!!

Shabby Chic

I don't own a snowman stamp! Don't think they go with our hot Aussie Christmases - so I found myself this cute digital snowman image to use on my tag.

I was inspired by the falling snow to create this fun snowman scene!

Snowmen make the perfect subject when creating a holiday tag!

Laura Jane
My snowman can be found in the moon:)

Classy & Elegant

I was inspired by the snowmen and snowflakes to create my card.

These little snowdudes are just so cute, so excited to finally use them!

The cute happy snowman of the inspiration photo made me use the joy on my tag! Who doesn't feel joy building a snowman?! :)

I am already in the holiday mood!!

Sue Trembeth
I love that fact that these tags are mini cards. They open up for a fun sentiment inside.
Snowman and Christmas - love them both!!

Kristie Larsen

Nancy Leppek
I adore Snowmen and enjoyed paper piecing and shading
this little guy!  We all know that snow doesn't stay stark white for long. LOL

Kristie Goulet

Hi, my name is Kristie Goulet and I live in Northern, NH with my husband of 18 years and 4 amazing children. I am a SAHM who loves to create after our homeschooling day is finished. I love making cards to send to family and friends. I started my blog Kreative Kristie and am amazed at the amazing bond that card makers have and the friendships I have made. I'm super excited to be on this design team with these very talented ladies and sharing my CAS style with you.

Nancy Leppek

Hi...My name is Nancy and I am over the top excited to be a Guest Designer here at The Card Concept. I live on the West Coast of the Sunshine State and my hubby and I both work in the school system. We have the most amazing 22 year old son a parent could ever ask for.  When I am not making cards or scrapbooking (if there is anything better to do) you can find me either baking, blog surfing, or attending my Pinterest Addict meetings.

Kristie is stepping in for Deanna Dean who is stepping down from our team. We are so sad to see Deanna go! Thank you for your dedication and amazing inspiration, Deanna! We hope you will return to play along with us when you can! Kristie is now joining us as a permanent "Clean and Simple" designer! We are so delighted to have her with us!
For the next two weeks we have an inspiration challenge sure to get your Christmas juices flowing! Feel free to create a card with the colours or with any part of the inspiration photo. Maybe you want to use trees, tags, die cuts or snowflakes. Show us how you were inspired! All product is welcome!
