Challenge #20 - Colour Challenge

Welcome to The Card Concept.

This week we have a theme for you to try! You must use the theme and create your card in one of the styles of the designers.

The styles are explained HERE.

Laurie Willison

I was inspired by the colors and all I could think of was fall! My favorite time of year!

Yoonsun Hur

I was inspired by the colours and yummy orange pumpkin!

Geri Greening

Hand drawn black lines paired with bold, block letters & a simple image
maintain a clean & graphic style.

Kim Heggins

I was inspired by the colors, orange and black, such a wonderful pair and they are not just for Halloween...I love baseball and the San Francisco Giants.

Kerin Sylvester

I was inspired by the checkered tablecloth and found a DSP that mimicked that pattern.

Using sticky back paper I made my own flame stencil.

Narelle Farrugia
I decided to use the challenge colours for a pretty flower that I used as my focal point on my card.

Cindy Lovell

When i saw the colors,i,of course thought of Halloween right away!!

I used lots of iconic Halloween images and made my own twine closure.

Inspiration from fall theme, colors, pumpkins and tablecloth

I love the colour combo and the candelabra made me think of the Victorian Era; hence the damask background

Card Concept #19 - Color Challenge

    Welcome to The Card Concept.
Welcome to The Card Concept! Before we get to our challenge, I am sad to announce that Ardyth has decided to step down from the Card Concept team. She will be greatly missed! Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Ardyth! This is her last challenge with us, so please make sure to visit her blog and to leave her some love!

This week we have a theme for you to try! You must use the theme and create your card in one of the styles of the designers.

    The styles are explained HERE.

    Deanna Dean

Keep it CAS by stamping in the corner so you keep all that white space.

    Sue Trembeth

Stamping over your sentiment draws the eye to the image and the sentiment.

    Ardyth Percy-Robb

Choose a sentiment and image with similar line-width to keep your design unified!

    Kristie Larsen

For me graphic = bold! Pick one graphic stamp and apply pigment inks for full colour.

    Kay Miller

Layer up some pretty fall leaves to create an adorable little treat tote to fill with fall goodies!

    Kim Heggins

I was inspired by the beautiful colors and the leaves. I layered my leaves to give them a bit more dimension.

    Debbie Marcinkiewicz

I was inspired by the patchwork look of the colored leaves to create a 'quilt' theme, layered card by paper piecing hexagon shapes!

    Mary Marsh

The colors and the autumn leaves helped shape my shabby chic creation.

    LauraJane

I saw butterflies instead of leaves among those Yummy colors!

    Yoonsun Hur

I fell in love with beautiful autumn colours!

    Angela Maine

Peek-a-boo panel to highlight mum and roses in autumn colors.

    Cindy Lovell

I was completly inspired by the pretty leaves from the inspiration photo.
