Welcome
to The Card Concept! Every two weeks we post our inspiration
photo challenge and we hope you will join in with us and create a card for our
challenge gallery. Feel free to use any of the styles we have defined or
create your own with a combination of styles. We want you to have fun
with our inspiration!
Our
design team members will also be selecting a style and will explain how they
were inspired by the challenge. So come and join us! We'd love you
to try your hand at a brand new style of card making or feel free to work in
your comfort zone. It is totally up to you!

Now for
the design team and their inspiration:
Becca's
Inspiration: I was all about that black and white damask and incorporated it
into my glitzy background. I also loved the bold red blooms and chose to work
in the Classy & Elegant style to give this card a regal finish.
Karen's
Inspiration: I was inspired by the wrapping paper, the gorgeous red roses and
the bold black and red colour scheme for my Clean & Layered card.
Vicki Finger
Vicki's
Inspiration - I was inspired by the colors in the bouquet and wanted touches of
the red, black and white in my Classy & Elegant card.
Julie Gearinger
Julie's
Inspiration- I was inspired by the gorgeous red roses, the white shutters as
well as the black and white scroll pattern for my Shabby Chic/ Mixed Media
card!
Michelle's Inspiration: I was inspired by the deep red roses and
the white, wooden slats, which reminded me of shutters in my Clean &
Layered card.
Kim's Inspiration: I was inspired by the beautiful red roses with
a wee touch of green for my Clean & Simple card. I wanted to give my
card a clean look with the focus on the roses.
Nancy's
Inspiration: It's all about romance this month, and wedding cards! I zoned
in on those red roses and the shabby shutters for my Clean & Layered card.
Maureen's
Inspiration: The colours and end of the school year inspired my Clean
& Layered card.
Susan's Inspiration: The background along with the roses inspired
me to make this Clean & (somewhat) Layered card.
Mackie's Inspiration: I was inspired by the roses along with the
red and black colors for my Clean & Layered card!
Julee's
Inspiration: I took my inspiration for this Classy & Elegant with a hint of
Shabby Chic card from the colors, texture and layout of the photo.
Veronica's
Inspiration: I took my inspiration from the beautiful, bold rose, and the black
and white patterns of the inspiration picture for my Clean & Layered/Classy
& Elegant card.
Our
Rules:

Use the challenge inspiration to create a card.
2.
Use one of the challenge styles to create a card (or if you prefer,
combine a few styles).
3.
Explain in a post which style or combination of styles you used.
4.
Link your post using our linky (please link to the actual post on your
blog and not just your blog).
