Welcome to The Card Concept!
For those of you who are new to our challenge, every two weeks we will post our inspiration photo challenge and hope that you will join us by creating a card for our challenge gallery.
Just a reminder, an inspiration photo is exactly that- a starting point for inspiration. Will it be the colors, the overall theme, the texture, the actual items and/or something else that will inspire your card?

At the end of the challenge, our Design Team will choose one Main Winner and at least three Honorable Mentions. We will announce the winners here on our challenge blog, as well as our Facebook page and our new Pinterest board.
Again, as we mentioned above, please feel free to use any of the styles we have defined or create your own with a combination of styles. We want you to have fun with our inspiration!
In case you missed the link above, the styles are explained HERE.
Now for our Design Team's inspiration:
Esther's Inspiration: I was inspired by the colors in the
photo and those wildly floral curtains to create this
Clean and Simple/Mixed Media card.
Julie's Inspiration: I was inspired by the baby theme and
thought of stuffed teddy bears:-). Also the blues and corals
were inspirational for my Shabby and Vintage card!
Michele's Inspiration: I love the corals and blues with
a splash of green, and my feathered friend became a
wee chick inspired by the owls for my Clean and Layered card.
Karen's Inspiration: I was inspired by the colors
in the photo along with the zebra carpet under
the ottoman for my Clean and Layered card.
Nancy's Inspiration: The colors were my inspiration,
and so was the baby's room.
My style is Clean and Layered
LeAnne's Inspiration: I was inspired by the yummy
colors featured in the baby's room to create my
sweet treat Clean and Layered birthday card!
Mackie will be taking a break for a while and
will return as soon as she can!
Marcie's Inspiration: My Clean and Layered card was inspired
by the framed pictures and the striped blanket.
Kim's Inspiration: I was inspired by the colors and
the variety of patterns that work so well together

FYI- We have noticed that recently a few of our entrants are not following our guidelines, especially #3 , #4 and #5(see above).
We have had to disqualify many entries lately and would love to be able to include all into our voting for Winner/HM!
If you would like to be included in our entries for possible Winner or Honorable Mention, please make sure you include our inspiration photo in your blog post, link to our challenge site and do not include any other inspiration challenges. Thanks again for playing along with us!
