CC#66- February 1 {Love & Romance}

Welcome to The Card Concept!  Every two weeks we post our inspiration photo challenge and we hope you will join in with us and create a card for our challenge gallery.  

Before we proceed to our inspiration photo, we want to say "thank you" to Jennifer Timko! Jennifer will be stepping down from The Card Concept Design Team and we are so thankful for the inspiration she has been to all of us as well as her assistance behind the scenes.  Jennifer will still be designing and posting her lovely creations on her blog and we wish her all the best in the future!! Hugs, Jennifer- we will miss you!

Now, back to our "Love & Romance" Inspiration Photo- please feel free to use any of the styles we have defined or create your own with a combination of styles.  We want you to have fun with our inspiration!

 Our design team members will also be selecting a styles and will explain how they were inspired by the challenge.  So come and join us!  We'd love you to try your hand at a brand new style of card making or feel free to work in your comfort zone.  It is totally up to you!

Now for the design team and their inspiration:

Becca Cruger

 Becca's Inspiration: My card is a fusion of shabby chic and mixed media. I was inspired by the vintage paper in the background and the sweet florals. 

Karen Davis

 Karen's Inspiration: I was very inspired by the pretty colors, the hearts and roses for my Shabby Chic card.

Julie Gearinger

Julie's Inspiration: I created a vintage Shabby Chic card inspired by the gorgeous pink rose and love theme.  

Michele K. Henderson

Michele's Inspiration: I love the shiny foil hearts, and the romantic style of the text and was inspired to create a Freestyle Collage card.

Maureen Plut

 Maureen's Inspiration: I was inspired by the colours and hearts to make this Clean and Layered card.

Susan Powell

 Susan's Inspiration: I was inspired by the flower, the colors and the overall theme of love to make my CAS card.

Rahmat

Rahmat's Inspiration: I was inspired by the roses, hearts and colors for my CAS Card Design.

Mackie Robertson 

Mackie's Inspiration: I was inspired by the pretty pink roses for my Clean & Layered Style card.

Julee's Inspiration: The heart and flower combination inspired a fusion of the shabby chic and mixed media styles.

Our Rules:

2.  Use one of the challenge styles to create a card (or if you prefer, combine a few styles).

3.  Explain in a post which style or combination of styles you used.
