The Card Concept #101 {Rustic Fall}

Welcome to The Card Concept! Every two weeks we post our inspiration photo challenge and hope that you will join us by creating a card for our challenge gallery.

Before we post our inspiration photo, we would like to say
farewell to one of our Designers, Vicki Finger!

Vicki is stepping down from the DT in order to spend more time with her family. We want to take this time to thank Vicki for all of her hard work and for sharing her talent with us at The Card Concept! She is planning on playing along with us in the future (when she is able) and we will look forward to seeing her artwork in our gallery.

Now, on to our #101 Rustic Fall Challenge!!

Please feel free to use any of the styles we have defined or create your own with a combination of styles. We want you to have fun with our inspiration!

Our designers will also be selecting a style (or combination of styles) and will explain how they were inspired by the challenge. So come and join us! We'd love you to try your hand at a brand new style of card making or feel free to work in your comfort zone. It is totally up to you!

Tangii's Inspiration: I just LOVE Pumpkin Season!

I was inspired by the Pumpkins for my

Clean and Layered card!

Julie Gearinger

Julie's Inspiration: The fabulous pumpkins, vintage truck and
fall colors inspired my Shabby Chic/Mixed Media card!

Michele K. Henderson

Michele's Inspiration: I fell in love with this old blue pickup
truck and those pumpkins, and had to feature them
in my Clean and Layered card.

Kim Lackenbach

Kim's Inspiration: I was inspired by the colors, truck and
pumpkins for a Clean and Layered water-colored scene.

Nancy Penir

Nancy's Inspiration: I went with the colors in the photo,

blue and orange, and the fall theme for my
Classy and Elegant card.

Maureen Plut

Maureen's Inspiration: My Clean and Layered card was
inspired by the colours, the leaves, and the adorable sign.

Susan Powell

Susan's Inspiration: My one layer watercolor card was
inspired by the truck, the pumpkins and the
overall rustic/country feel of the photo.

Angel Rivera

Angel's Inspiration: I was inspired by all of the beautiful
pumpkins to create a fun Clean and Layered card!

Mackie Robertson
Mackie is taking a break from the Design Team for the month of November

to celebrate a wedding in her family! She will be back in December,

Marcie's Inspiration: The distressed look of the truck and
all the fabulous pumpkins were the inspiration
for my Clean & Layered card.

The Card Concept #100 {Elegant Fall} & Special Celebration!

Welcome to The Card Concept's 100th Challenge!

As you know, every two weeks we post our inspiration photo challenge and hope that you will join us by creating a card for our challenge gallery.

We are so excited to celebrate our 100th challenge! For an extra treat and to add to the celebration, every Designer invited a special Guest Designer to create a card to give you more inspiration than ever!!

Plus, isn't this photo just gorgeous? Lesley, our Challenge Creator, has such a wonderful eye for beautiful inspiration photos, doesn't she? We cannot wait to see what you create for our gallery :-)

We hope you will feel free to use any of the styles we have defined, or create a style of your own with a combination of styles when you design your card.
