So come and join us! We'd love for you to try your hand at a brand new style of card making or feel free to work in your comfort zone. It is totally up to you!
In case you missed the link above, the styles are explained HERE.
Now for our Design Team's inspiration:
Esther's Inspiration: I was inspired by the globes to
create this layered Mixed Media card!
Julie's Inspiration: I was inspired by all of the
globes as well as the shades of brown to create a
Shabby and Vintage card!
Michele's Inspiration: I stepped outside of the box a
little bit, inspired by the greenery, the muted grays, and
a different way to think about the Earth and our
dreams, in my Clean and Layered card.
Nancy's Inspiration: All those lovely globes, the
muted colors, and a bit of greenery inspired
my Mixed Media, Clean and Layered card.
LeAnne's Inspiration: I was inspired by the globes
and the masculine feel of the photo to create my
vintage-style Clean and Layered card.
Mackie will be taking a break for a while and
will return as soon as she can!
Marcie's Inspiration: The rich, vintage colours and stacks
of luggage and books are what inspired me this week
for my Classy and Elegant card.
Kim's Inspiration: I was inspired by the stacks of suitcases
and books, the classic look, and the globes to create
this Clean and Simple card.
Anita's Inspiration: Literally, the suitcases and the
vintage feeling of the room for this
Clean and Layered Card.
Betty's Inspiration: I was inspired by the chair pattern
and color along with the green plant with gold vase for
my Clean and Layered styled card.
The Card Concept Guidelines:
1. Use the challenge inspiration photo to create a card- no back linking.
2. Use one of the challenge styles to create a card (or if you prefer, combine a few styles).
3. Explain in a post which style or combination of styles you used and what inspired you from our photo.
4. Link your post using our linky (please link to the actual post on your blog and not just your blog) and please display our inspiration photo in your blog post.
5. We do not mind if you combine our challenge with others, but please do not combine ours with another inspiration challenge.
6. Please try to comment on the cards ahead of you and behind you in the linky. Everyone loves comments!
The deadline to participate is
Monday, February 1st at 12:00 pm EST.
Our Challenge Winner and the Honorable Mentions will be announced on Wednesday, February 3rd.
We look forward to seeing your artwork in our gallery!
FYI- We have noticed that recently a few of our entrants are not following our guidelines, especially #3 , #4 and #5(see above).
We have had to disqualify many entries lately and would love to be able to include all into our voting for Winner/HM!
If you would like to be included in our entries for possible Winner or Honorable Mention, please make sure you include our inspiration photo in your blog post, link to our challenge site and do not include any other inspiration challenges. Thanks again for playing along with us!
